Had a evening spanish trip, caught 8 including 1 that was about 25 inches, a little tough fishing with 6 lost at the boat. On the bright side did see a sailfish about 1.5 miles off the beach.
Still have Sunday available and the weather is looking good.
Tight lines,
Capt. David

July 28th, 2010Had a great group of guys on the boat today including two 7 year olds. We spanish fished right off the beach and ended the 1/4 day trip with 18 fish. On a side note, the cabbage head jellyfish were so thick you could almost walk on them. Still have a couple slots open this weekend if anyone wants to catch fish.
Tight lines,
Capt. David

July 14th, 2010June 13thHad a great day Spanish fishing, the fish are in close and that means less ride time and more fishing. Ended the day with 27 Spanish and 1 King. Coming up in August there are 2 local King Mackerel tournaments that I still have availability for. The Wild King Classic Aug 7-8 and the Fish Tales Tournament on Aug 14th. If you are interested I have some great specials running for those tournaments, so call for details. We have been hitting the big kings hard over the last couple weeks, so come join for some high paced tourney fishing, not to mention captains and awards party’s before and after each tournament. Thanks and tight lines, Capt. David

June 25th, 2010Fished the last 3 days all from a ¼ day trip to a full day on Thursday. Caught everything from Spanish mackerel to a NC Citation ‘Cuda. On Wednesday we had a group of a grandfather, son and grandson. Managed to help the grandfather and grandson catch their first ever mahi. Tuesday we had a short ¼ day and went after the Spanish with a group of guys who were in town for a wedding. Thursday the weather was a bit more than forecasted but we stuck it out and went after quality and not quantity. We started the day with a NC Citation 48” barracuda that we released. After that we battled the waves and the smoker kings, we got our eyes on 3 40lb class kings but had a hard time getting the slobs to the boat. The water is getting fishier everyday and dates are going fast so call and book your adventure now.

Dolphin and a few sail fish have started showing up 5 to 10 miles off the beach. Call or email now if you want to trip. Look forward to seeing everyone again this summer…
